Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Black Bolt & Medusa

The king and queen of the Inhumans, and the sensible first box for anyone starting that affiliation. Black Bolt is a leader option and the heavier of the pair, a character whose whole story is restraint: he stays silent because speaking levels cities. Medusa is cheaper, more mobile, and also legal in A-Force, which means she still earns a place if your Inhumans project stalls.

Inhumans is a compact, self-contained affiliation, and that makes it genuinely friendly to newer players. You are not asked to buy across half the range to make it work. The flip side is that the roster is small, so your list-building choices are narrower than an Avengers or Cabal player enjoys, and a canny opponent can learn what you are bringing.
