We grow when you grow.

A game shop is only ever as good as the tables around it. Somebody learning why you thin your paints. Somebody finishing their first full squad. A group that finally has enough regulars for a proper league.

That is the growth we actually care about, and it is why Extra Turn Games exists. We are not trying to be the biggest store on the internet. We are trying to be the one that leaves this hobby in better shape than we found it.

Which means fixing the part that keeps getting in the way.

Every hobbyist has the same story. You fall in love with a game. You find the box you have been waiting on. And then the buying part ruins it. Sold out in ninety seconds. Pre-order cancelled by email, six weeks after you paid. A price that moved after you had already committed.

For years we told each other that was just how it worked. Then we got tired of saying it. Every player who sticks with this hobby makes it better for the rest of us, so we spend our time making it easier to stick with.

What we stand for

  • We honor what we take.

If we accepted your order, filling it is our problem and not yours. We fill it, or we tell you early and refund you in full, no fee and no store credit. What we will not do is go quiet and let an automated cancellation email do the talking.

  • A waitlist is a queue, not a promise.

Being on the list does not guarantee you a copy, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it guarantees is your exact place in line for the stock that does arrive, filled in the order people joined, with 24 hours to claim when your turn comes.

  • More players is the point.

Local roots, open to anyone in the country. New players and veterans get the same price, the same place in line, and the same answer when they email.

The time we bought our own stock at retail.

Our allocation on the Star Wars: Legion Mandalorian Leaders release got cut in July 2026. Customers had already pre-ordered. The standard move in this industry is an automated refund email and a shrug.

We went out and bought the missing copies at full retail price, out of our own margin, and shipped them at the price people had reserved at. All 13 orders went out complete. We made nothing on the shorted items.

We are not promising to do that every time, and you should be wary of any shop that does. Allocation is the publisher's call, not ours, and a shop that guarantees stock it has not been given is writing a check somebody else has to cash.

What we will promise is the part that is actually ours: we tell you as soon as we know, we deal with you straight, and if we cannot fill your order you get every penny back without having to ask twice.

The doors are coming.

Right now we are a website and a lot of cardboard. That was always step one. Step two is a room with tables in it, here in Central Florida, where the leagues and the learn-to-plays and the paint nights happen in person.

We will say more when there is something to say. If you want to hear it first, the list at the bottom of this page is where that goes out.

About the shop

Who is Extra Turn Games?

An independent miniatures and tabletop shop run by people who play the systems we sell. The person picking the range, packing your box and answering your email is a player.

Do you have a physical store?

Not yet. We ship nationwide today, and a storefront in Central Florida is in the works. Join the list and you will hear about it first.

What game systems do you carry?

Star Wars: Legion, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Infinity and Moonstone, along with paints, tools and hobby accessories for all of them.

How fast do you ship?

In-stock orders leave within one business day. Orders over $100 ship free.

Does joining the waitlist guarantee me a copy?

No, and be wary of any shop that tells you otherwise. A waitlist is a queue for stock that actually arrives, not a reservation against stock that might not. What it does guarantee is your exact place in that queue, filled in the order people joined, and a full refund if nothing reaches you.

What happens if my pre-order is allocated short?

We tell you as soon as we know. The waitlist fills strictly in the order people joined, and you get 24 hours to claim with a reminder before the window closes. If stock does not reach you, you get a full refund with no fee. We have gone out and bought copies at retail to cover a shortfall before, though we will not pretend that is a guarantee, because allocation is the publisher's call and not ours.

Can I cancel a pre-order?

Any time before it ships, for a full refund to your original payment method. No fee, no forced store credit.
