Kang the Conqueror is the reason most people pick the box up. He is a leader, he sits high on the threat scale, and he anchors a Cabal list. Iron Monger, Obadiah Stane in stolen Stark plate, is a cheap Cabal and Criminal Syndicate body. Rescue, Pepper Potts, crosses the aisle entirely as an Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D. and A-Force option. And Iron Lad carries no affiliation at all, which sounds like a drawback until you are building an unaffiliated list and want a genuinely useful low-threat model.

Eight Team Tactic cards from one box is a lot, and it is the strongest argument for the pack: those cards do not care which affiliation you settled on. The catch is that this is a box you will split across two or three different armies rather than field together, so if you want a coherent themed squad out of a single purchase, an affiliation pack serves you better.

Best suited to a player a few boxes in who knows which direction they are growing. Pair with the Cabal Affiliation Pack or the Avengers Affiliation Pack depending on which half you use first.
