Four characters, and the box that takes the Inhumans from a pair of royals to a real affiliation. Maximus the Mad arrives as a leader option, which matters because it gives the faction a second way to be built. King Black Bolt is a larger, more powerful version of the character than the one in his original pack and sits at the top of the threat scale. Karnak and Gorgon are the cheap, capable bodies that let you afford him.

That spread is the point. Every character here is Inhumans and only Inhumans, so this is a commitment rather than a hedge, but it is also a complete answer to the affiliation's biggest weakness, which was a shortage of models to fill out a squad.

Best bought second or third, after Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Black Bolt & Medusa has told you whether the faction suits you. If it has, this is the box that makes it competitive, and Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Crystal & Lockjaw plus the Inhumans Affiliation Pack finish the job.
