The Galactic Empire is the faction for players who like a straightforward, disciplined gunline. Stormtrooper corps are cheap and reliable, Death Troopers hit hard at close range, and heavy support like the AT-ST gives you a durable centrepiece that the Rebels struggle to remove.

It is a forgiving faction to learn on. Your units do what they say on the card, and most lists want the same core of corps infantry, so you can expand gradually without rebuilding your army every release.
