The Separatists are the horde faction. B1 battle droids are individually terrible and priced accordingly, so you field a lot of them and win by weight of numbers and board control. Droidekas and MagnaGuards provide the punch that the B1s cannot.

Worth knowing before you commit: this is the highest model count army in the game, which means more assembly and painting than a clone or Imperial list of the same points.
